FAQ

Does the Garden Stand require casters?

The EarthBox® Garden Stand does not need casters unless you want to enable mobility with your garden. Without casters, the structure can be assembled and set in place. If you desire mobility, you will need a total of 4 EarthBox® Casters for the Garden Stand.

EarthBox® Casters are custom sized and designed to work with the EarthBox® Original gardening system, EarthBox® Staking System, and EarthBox® Garden Stand. Using other casters may cause damage to your EarthBox® and related accessories, which will not be covered under the Satisfaction Guarantee.

Can the Garden Stand be used with the EarthBox® Junior™ or EarthBox® Root & Veg™ gardening systems?

No. The EarthBox® Garden Stand is not compatible with these products, and can only be used with the EarthBox® Original gardening system (second-generation) pictured below.

EarthBox Original container dimensions

Is the Garden Stand compatible with the first-generation EarthBox® Original gardening system?

The Garden Stand is not recommended with the first-generation EarthBox® gardening system since the first-generation system has different dimensions. It does not provide an exact fit and puts extra pressure against the sides of the box after it is filled with growing media. That is why we only recommend using our Garden Stand with our 2nd generation EarthBox Original.

Note: The First Generation EarthBox® gardening system was discontinued November 30, 2005. If you are unsure if your EarthBox® container is a first- or second-generation product, refer to the chart below.

Garden stand compatibility chart

Can the Garden Stand be used with the EarthBox® Staking System?

No. The Garden Stand and Staking System are not able to be used with one another; and the Garden Stand is not intended for top-heavy crops to be grown.

The EarthBox® Garden Stand is intended to raise low-growing crops off the ground, such as lettuce, broccoli, spinach, herbs, etc. to reduce the need for bending.

The EarthBox® Staking System is intended to vertically grow tall, sprawling, or vining crops such as tomatoes, cucumbers, melons, squash, etc.

Is the EarthBox® Garden Stand available in other colors?

The EarthBox® Garden Stand is only available in hunter green at this time.
